I lost two great friends awhile back and this is the first time I am able to sit down and reflect. I was in chat tonight talking to Adam and it brought a lot of feelings to the surface. What really sucks is we were leaving and that fate had to befall both of them. It truly has made me a better person and I wanted to share this with everyone here. Everyone knows that I have been getting bombed pretty hard lately. I want to thank everyone who has bombed me and also those who lent prayers to our troop when the accident occurred. I am so happy to have found a family here and I plan to live my life to the fullest to honor theirs.

Thank you all,

Thanks for sharing some of the hardship with us, Tom. Even though we didn't know them as you did, we're here with you brother. Prayers sent!

Hey Tom, I'm sorry to hear of your loss, and I'm confident that you will honour their memory properly brother. We're glad that you made it home safely, and wish that all your comrades could as well. Unfortunately, war doesn't work that way.
