I recently was contacted by the people at Charo Chicken and I don't know much about them? I'm wondering... I know it's a chain of 16 but are they like a mid level chain possibly a Boston Market in the making? What are some of your thoughts as far as how they run there business? What type of customers frequent? And are they a busy place? Your help is much appreciated!

They are like El Pollo Loco. Mexican flavors, beans, rice, tortillas. The have tacos and burrittos, etc but offer all the 2-20 piece meal deals and the food is GOOD. Not taco bell cheap but great for lunch orders. We order from there 3-4 time a month from the office.

They opened one in Redlands and it was gone within 6 months. It was good food and the price was not bad. The location was piss poor. It was within 250 yards of Rubio's and Chipoltle. On top of that, there were 4 additional mexican restaurants withing 1 mile (more like 1/2 a mile). One of those was a Juan Pollo.

I have been to the one in Montclair and the one in Buena Park, both were empty during peak dinner hours. The food is not bad, very Pollo Loco'ish. The one in Montclair is next door to a Starbucks and Denny's . . . but it is always empty with Employees sitting around not doing much.
