I have to turn in all my cable internet stuff tommorow. This means after tommorow am I will be without internet for 7-14 days. Please dont panic. I refuse to see crying, weeping, or gnashing of teeth. Be strong for me as I move to parts unknown. I have no idea how I will go through internet withdraw. It will be ugly. I will miss you all (well all but Brian) :) I guess it's time for a group hug. :peace:

They have these things they call internet cafe's you know. Also those big institutions full of books called Librarys have internet as well. Hell the last hotel I stayed at had free use in the lobby. Don't be a stranger. Slow withdrawl is better than cold turkey Doc.:stretchgr

Yea, plug in the wireless card and walk around. You're bound to find an open network somewhere!

I don't have a laptop or wireless internet. Also I doubt if there are hot spots where I am going. The library is a good idea. Thanks for the generous offer Tripp, I will certainly keep that in mind. Hopefully, I can get online at the library in a few days to check in.

Shawn,

Best of luck in your move. Moving was always a two edged sword for me, the hard work and many problems on one hand, but the excitment of new places, people and experiences on the other. Hope everything goes smooth as silk, and you're back in the forum quickly.

You're not letting the movers touch your cigars I hope :nono:

Let the movers touch my cigars???? Thats like trusting Don Juan with your woman. I will have my humidor and cigar boxes in my trunk. If my wife doesn't like it too bad. I can't let some unknowns touch the goods. I'm excited but I know it's going to be stressful.

If you put em in the trunk, buy a big ice chest and a couple of reuseable packs. It get hot in the trunk. I have moved 12 times in the last 30 years. Take lots of time and enjoy the move. Its the journey, rarely the destination. Some of our best memories and that of the kids took place during a move. Best of luck.
