FREE Tatuaje L'Esprit de la Verite...

So, I just took a look at NHC and ummmmm....WOW!

Free L'Esprit de la Verite pre-production robusto, LA Rickey, and Ambros Mundos with box purchase.

That's a $20 stick, pre-pro, and something not many people have had!!!

I was just going to grab a 5er or 2, and now I gotta get a box...

That is the sampler they were handing out to people at the show in NO. It was one sampler per shop. Unfortunately the only cigar I really liked out of that pack was the La Ricky. While worth a try to form your own opinions the L'Esprit de la Verite did nothing for me. I thought it was on the boring side and kept waiting for something to happen.

There were a few of the BOTL members who were fortuntate enough for Pete to send one too as a pre prod sample. And most of us had the same opinion as you. Pete actually acknowledged that and attributed it to its pre prod status and kind of imagining it as a bottle of wine pre prod. The base is there...but the flavors have not developed yet. So they were boxed and placed into a cave in a secret layer under a volcano protected by a dragon until time to release. (i feel compelled to tell you I lied a little bit about the wareabouts of the sticks). Once done aging they should be yumm...I cannot wait!

As for NH deal...freakn awesome! WTG Dan!

I too smoked it at the show and wouldn't mind having another one to try. While it was not my favorite Tatuaje ever, it still had some new stuff going on that was refreshing. I sometimes hate trying stuff at the show because of all the smokes I have had or will have over those 5 days. I was excited because now I can give it another shot with a fresh palate.

I understand that and maybe a second shot is worthwhile. I didn't smoke it until I got back to the shop. At the show I smoked every cigar fully but mostly brought everything back with me to smoke at a time I could give it my full attention. Maybe some aging will help it but only time will tell.

I should of brought it back, but I got too excited on that one... it was one of my first smokes, but regardless, it would be great to try again. I brought a lot back to smoke/evaluate, but just like the Nosotros, I only received one Verite.

the one pete gave me at outlaw earlier this year he said was two weeks old. i thought it was great. i have one of the more recent releases and have not tried it yet as a lot of the comments have not been as favorable. it should be interesting to see.

Just spoke with Dan at NHC. ordered a box of J21's and the sampler. He mentioned that the samplers should last for at least a little while and shouldn't be a real quick sell out kind of thing. You never know though - especially with the folks around here.
