So, any of the New Orleans BOTL's out there have any recomendations of places tostay inthe French Quarter? Im looking to bring the wife there next year for her 40th bday. Id like to stay inthe french quarter. Something with a nice courtyard. Ive been to NO once but stayed outside the FQ. probably going to travel in April, before the music fest. I dont need that mayhem....!!!

Go to the place that invented the Banannas Foster... I forget the name of the hotel but it's beautiful and in the FQ.

I like the Chateau Bourbon, one of the oldest and nicest there. The Hotel Monteleone
is also great, but then there is the Royal Sonesta Hotel. Hell any of those are usually my first choice when planning ahead. Book early though, hard to stay at these on short notice, unless a hurricane is blowing by lol.:crytears: Hope this helps.

Pretty sure that is Brennan's, but its a restraunt not a hotel. May be wrong though.

Well Mardi Gras season is fastly approaching. I would definitely sugguest the first part of year because from May to August it is going to be very hot. There is something going on almost every day of the week and never a dull moment. They party for a living, so there is always something fun to do.
