Hi all. I am a seasoned smoker, i guess I can call myself that. Started smoking 2003 or so, started with what at the time I thought would be the best choice from NCs: Monte, RyJs and Macanudos, and JR Alternatives. Soon after, gave up for a few years, as the cigars were bad and harsh to me, compared to Cohiba Siglo II i smoked in Cancun from Duty Free shop. Then someone gave me a custom roll Cuban stick and I was amazed, and started doing a lot of reading and looking at CA reviews of top 25, from the past 6 years or so at that time, that was about 3 years ago. Finally overcame a fear of smoking something that was not a Cuban Namesake Brands that were NCs for American market, and had a RP Vintage 1990, and was wowed. That cigar will always be special to me, as it brought me back to smoking cigars, and made me start trying different brands, and especially Boutique ones. Even though my palate changed and I do not prefer 1990 Vintage anymore, it still is a good cigar. But noticed that it is not as good as when I had it back in 2008-2009.
I am an active member of Puff and a few people I know, especially Tommy ( from my local B&M who is a member on here, I just have to find his user name ) mentioned this site to me to check out, and how great the people on here are, and how much knowledge is on here as well. So I am here.
At this point I have 2 humidors, 1 small one and 1 nice Savoy Large size one, total of about 200 sticks. In the next few months I will get my wife to let me get a Winedor and get customer shelves for it, as I am ready to buy some boxes to age, as I have a few staples now that are box worthy for me:
