Thanks for the quick replies guys! I'm going to pick it up today after work. Can any seasoned OpusX smokers shed some light as to what I should be looking for? Any dead giveaways that the product may be a dud?

I hold my B&M in the highest regards and he's a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to primo stuff (Habano or not) so I highly, highly doubt he'd stock any fakies.

Got mine! :) Does this humidor need to be prepared and wiped down with DW? Or can I just throw in a little boveda and put it in my wineador?

seasoning? If the box was kept in a humidor at your B&M it doesn't need any seasoning. Also, get rid of the 69% packet, and just stick the whole thing in a humidor or winador. if/when you decide to smoke those, you'll want 'em a lot closer to 62% IMHO.

Also, don't smoke any of them but the Angel's Share for at least 3-4 years, or you'll be very disappointed.

Maybe seasoning wasn't the right word to use. Let me rephrase my question; do I have to prepare it? Wipe it down with DW prior to just throwing it in my wineador without the 69 RH Boveda?

Also, thanks for that last bit StogieNinja, I was planning on smoking one in 2 weeks prior to the start of my new career, but I'll just leave them alone for a really special occasion or something. I'm holding my stogies at around 65-66 RH so I'll be sure to dry box for a day prior to lighting one up.

If the box was kept in a humidor at the B&M, it doesn't need any seasoning/preparation. If it's been kept at a proper rh, it's going to be at a proper rh.

The Angel's Share should be ready now, it's supposed to be already aged, but the rest you'll want to rest.

The box was kept in my B&M's walk-in humidor, so I'll just throw it in my wine-a-dor. Thanks again StogieNinja!
