Does anyone have personal experience with either of these two GPS devices? I'm having trouble deciding although I'm leading towards the Garmin c340 since blue tooth stuff isn't important to me.

I used a Garmin Quest 2 on my motorcycle, and now it's in my truck. I didn't like how the Tomtom navigated, and it ws too expensive.

I've got a Garmin e-trek (handheld) and I absolutely love it. I haven't used the Garmin or the TomTom versions for the vehicle so I can't help you there.

I have TomTom software on my Treo and love it. It's saved my ass many times.
Works great in Europe too (except for the Greek Islands, where everything is "Unnamed Road")

Well I can't go along with the group on this one, I have a Tom Tom and I like it, the updates r very easy to get (either on line or mail and u get a CD) I order mine so it would work in ALL of US and Canada....I did get a (Garmin 330 I think or something like that) and the one that I got for Xmas, I had to have a laptop with me where ever I went to down load each state, so I sent it back. I did pay a lil more for the TOM TOM, but it works like a charm.. I do lots of driving in the cities/and on county back roads and it works great.....

I've got the Garmin c550 and love it. I have a friend that has a Tom Tom and loves it as well. However his sentiments echo a lot of what I've heard, "I love my Tom Tom, but my next GPS will be a Garmin." For what it's worth.

I went with the Garmin c340, and it rocks. I opted not to go with one of the higher end models because I don't see myself using one of those bluetooth things anytime in this lifetime.
