People today are laboring under a massive misconception about the role of education in the pursuit of a career.
Yes, a lot of good jobs require degrees. Where a lot of people seem to screw up is assuming that the degree is all they require. People over-value the degree, spend WAY too much on it, and exit the whole process disappointed, bitter and in debt.
Building a career is something you do in the field, not in the classroom.
