So my wife and I managed to get away for our anniversary this last weekend. Two weeks after the fact, but better late than never right. Drove down to Tulsa and went to the zoo and aquarium. Had a great time, thought you all might want to see a few pics...

Can you tell that we really like the reptiles ?

I see you like the pit vipers!
I like the Copperhead. We have a few around. They are almost impossible to spot when lying in fallen Live Oak leaves.
You could hire that Loggerhead for cutting re-bar to length!

Tulsa is in Oklahoma, Larry...

You know, that place that if it didn't suck so bad, Texas would fall in the Gulf of Mexico??

Like I can argue with a zoo and aquarium - Our last Anniversary the wife took me to Empire!!

I love this pic -

Should be titled ""You gonna eat that??""

I don't know why, but that pic made me think of the Cheech & Chong movie with the "Lizardweed".....

 Seems weird I know, but we both really like animals so yeah, we enjoyed it. Plus we went out to eat at a few places that were excellent and I wore my "sexy jeans" to dinner so she was happy.

Love the pics, especialy the reptiles. Were heading to our local reptile even this weekend and talk tortoise! Wifey says no to another lizard or snake so I think a tortois is in our near future. I've had reptiles and other pets since I was old enough to take care of them and my youngest is just as geeked about it the same way.

Awesome, my wife has gotten the turtle/tortoise fever too. So now we have two Red-eared Sliders, a Russian Tortoise, and a Box Turtle . Be warned, cigars aren't the only thing with a slippery slope . In fact later today I have to rearrange a room to fit in a new enclosure so I can bring the Box Turtle inside for the winter.

I already know what you mean. We have around eight tanks and two huge Malinite tanks I personally built which are very nice. I used to have Bearded Dragons (Red and Orange) but the doc said I was pushing my boundries with the daily waste from them so I sold them but kept my tanks. We now currently have just two snakes and our Ornate Uromastyx. We used to have Sand boas, Scorpions, and a live reef tank which I propagated coral in and sold online. Scince I got really sick I had to give up the ones that required daily cleaning. It broke my heart but I had no choice. Now we are bound to keep easier pets untill my youngest gets old enough to do the cleaning and care on his own. I will post pics later.
