Which ones are the best? I have looked at the Trijicons. Any others to consider? Also, should I get a professional to install?

texas, is there anyplace else?
search on Glocktalk. They have picture of all the night sights side by side. I would recommend having them installed. When mine where installed they had to do alot of filing on the front screw to get it to clear.

I think the trijicons are what I will go with. I have a p/t at a sporting goods shop and they had a g19 that was missing the front sight, I got it for a steal. Actually bought it for my dad for an x mas gift. I think this is the best way to go.

The factory sights are great. Way cheaper than the after market options and glock will install them for you if you send them your slide. The downside is you'll be without the gun for a couple weeks. Just call the factory in Smyrna and ask them if your interested.

I perfer the Meprolights, I think they are a better sight picture in day light, but all the brands agre good and about the same in low light. YES, you need to have a profesional install, the specialized tool cost triple what it will cost to have someone with the tool do it for you, and trying it with a hammer or press can break the glass viles full of glowy gas in the sights and then the sights are garbage.
