I should note I've only had the don carlito. Dunno how the serie b is but it's no doubt delicious.

...maybe as a special occasion stick buying a single would be worth it I guess. But knowing I could get two anejos or black CGs or fume/cruzado etc. etc. Instead would make it a tough choice for sure.

How much was it? Sometimes even when I know a cigar is overpriced, I may try it anyway and look at the extra $ paid as the price to satisfy my curiosity.

Ooh...never mind; if I was going to drop that much on curiosity, it would be for a Padron Family Reserve or something like that.

They started at $30 per stick. I think the reason they are so much there is because it is in an upscale shopping center. I wouldn't buy from them though I would most likely buy from a site sponsor if they carry them. I found a sample 5 pack for 115 which isn't that bad

I might have had a few and they were good sticks. I think they are overpriced but there are many who disagree as can be seen by how they fly off the shelves.

I have only smoked one of the 06 Carlito and it was truly a great cigar. Are they overpriced? Only because I can't afford them. If I had the dosh, I would stockpile them. The one I smoked was in 2014 and was extremely memorable.

Nice mellow sweetness like honey cedar. A little grassy. Anyway this was a little on the milder side than what I usually smoke around this point in time. However, it was very pleasant. And once I got to the nub it was on, the nub bumped it up in scoring. Very pleased glad I lit this baby up! Construction was on point except the draw was a bit tighter than tight in a good way, this fixed itself entering the last third.
Just my take on it.

Keep in mind when referring to the Serie B there are actually 2 different variants of the Serie B one utilizes Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro for the wrapper the other uses a Sun Grown Ecuadorian leaf.

While I could be mistaken, I was under the impression that the price tag includes some form of proceeds to charity. Which in that case you might overlook part of the higher pricing, occasionally at least.
