The wife and I are going on a cruise this summer that is stopping in the Grand Cayman islands. Is LCDH is the best place to purchase CCs in the Caymans? Any suggestions on brands to look for would help too. I only buy what I can enjoy on the ship, I am too paranoid to try and bring anything back in country. We are also stopping in Key West. Know any good shops down there? Thanks for the help.

The LCDH shops are the only place to buy cigars in the Caribbean otherwise your risking counterfeits.

Buy single cigars of ones you've always wanted to try. I don't know your tastes so i hesitate to suggest something. Try 'em all.

Here is to hoping you have better luck on your cruise than I did. Had my list made out and homework done only to have the ship skip GC due to rough waters. Trying my luck in May in St. Marten at LCDH.

Thanks, I hadn't thought of that.

IMO stay away from the Cohiba's. Around 99% fake on these cruise stops. Also remember glass top boxes are fake as well as any barber pole style Cohiba. Have a great time!

Did a 10 day Southern Caribbean over the Holidays. Ended up taking @ 100 cigars between my brother-in-law and myself... Good way to meet great botls while having a cigar on board
