my index is 18, for a local course handicap of like 20 (I havent looked for sure lately)...I'm playing well lately, so it's coming down quickly. Shot 91 on Thursday with 3 total blow up holes! Then off to Vegas for a scramble tournament yesterday...hate those things!

Well now it's probably horrific. I have only played 3 times in the last 7 years. I would say it's low hundred now. I love it, watch it, and still read about it. It's still a big interest of mine. But, family, school, then training left no time for golf. The year before I went to school I was a financial advisor for Prudential. I got to make my own schedule. Plus a local membership at the local club was very cheap if you had a school id (which I did from undergrad). So, I got lessons, hit about 300 balls a week, and played at least 36 holes a week. My low hundreds went to low 80's in less than a year. This year I should be able to practice again since the golf course is about 200 yards from my house and my schedule will be less hectic. It's a great sport.

i used to be very good (mid 80s) but have gotten away from it in the past few years - played for the first time in one year to the day and shot a mid 90s - LOL!

I really wish I could play more often then I do. But I shoot in the 100's-110's.

My index is 2.3, my home course handicap is 3. A few years back I had a +1 and played a few qualifiers for the US Open and made it to the second round a couple times. Now I just play when I can, the wife and 3 kids (another on the way) keep me busy. I'm 41 and hope to keep playing well enough to have an outside shot at the Senior Tour when I turn 50. Everybody needs a dream and this is mine.

I haven't even gotten to that level yet. This is really my first season playing and I don't get out as often as I would like.
