Good article on Leadership

I'm sure everyone knows some of those people at work that seems to be high on confidence but not that high on competence but for some reason they are in charge. I liked this article; I’ve long resented the Executives who are ignorant to the obvious until someone else points it out to them. Then they explain the problem back to the person who just explained it to them like they didn’t understand it was relevant in the first place. Followed by a rant pronouncing how all the "other" people are incompetent and therefore responsible for the problem they missed until they are handed the solution on a silver plate. Then they make the solution their own and tell the people who had the idea how to do the fix now that it is obvious.

If you ever meet me work related and hear me mention that a person has “Executive Talent” you’ll know it wasn’t a compliment.

All the same, good article below worth a read.

Good article, Mitch. Around here my staff and I refer to upper and lower halves. . .think in terms of a statistical normal distribution. . .:wink:
