Good bye & Hello from Headbanger

Hello to my brothers at BOTL. My absence here has been due mostly to my Mother passing away of lung cancer July 2011 and my overall desire to get into shape. For the last couple of years I no longer enjoy the pleasure of smoking as I once truly loved doing. The passion I once had is just gone mostly for the reasons above. I very much missed coming to the site to discuss cigars. I very much also miss the brothers I have gotten to know over the years. I apologize to anyone I upset and I thank the people that run this fine place.

I have already PM with Eric about some selling off much of my collection as time and energy dictates. I plan on posting some things every so often for sale. I never sold for profit and never will do so knowingly. I have offered 5% of the sales posted here will be given to BOTL as a thank you to the site and to help keep it going.

Sorry for the loss of your mother, cancer is a terrible thing. Sorry you lost the passion for cigars, but it does happen. That is part of the reason I don't smoke that often as I'm afraid of burnout.

Wow Steve, that sucks but understandable. My mother passed in 1998 from the same thing. Thought it would have changed my habits but NO. I think about it every day. You're making the best decision I'm sure. Still hate not to see you around though.
