Just wondering if anyone has B&M recommendations for New York City.

The place I've gone to a few times is "OK Cigar", which is a great place to buy cigars and has very nice owners and staff, but it's so tiny you can barely move around.

Barclay Rex has been my favorite lately, though I was very impressed with Davidoff the one time I stopped in. Nat Sherman's an old favorite of mine, but they seem a little off their game since the move.

Heard great things about Cigar Inn and De La Concha, but I've never been in either.

Cigar Inn is a great place to hand out for a smoke. Plenty of room to sit, good stock in the humidor and friendly staff. Dela Concha's nice and has a good selection but they don't have the seating area like at Cigar Inn. Still not a bad place to hang out. Now that Davidoff Madison is moving I hope the new place will have more sitting space for those that like to lounge around.

If you are in Brooklyn, there is a great place on 3rd Avenue and 92nd Street called "The Humidor". Old school Brooklyn. Smoking area in the front.

Not sure what you are looking for, but If you wanted something upscale I love this place. They have great steaks, a nice scotch selection, Guinness on tap and an elegant atmosphere. What else do you need? Oh cigars. Never even looked at their selection. I smoked my own. I had a BIG check but there was no cut fee on there.

Wow, that looks classy.

I'm guessing I don't want to go there wearing a band t-shirt and shorts.

Head to Merhants East after 5pm for a real nice lounge with no cutting fee if you bring your own sticks. I recently was in NYC and hung out here a few nights after dinner!

I was trying to remember the name of that place.

Merchants is a good one too

Here's a silly question - what is a cutting fee?
It is like a cork fee for wine

Many Cigar bars or lounges will charge a cutting fee of $5 to $10 to smoke one of your own cigars in their lounge.
