Not bad for America but not good for the guy who lost his/her job for that product to be made in another country. Keeps the rich rich and the poor poor.Is that really that bad for the United States?
:applause: Me too bro!!!The comments on the article seem more informed and accurate than the content of the article itself.
I understand that we all have to make a living... However, I'll pay more to buy American when I am able (or for that matter, anything other than Chinese). I'll shop & support local businesses & products every chance I get.
I know a guy here that sold his building in a downtown location but wanted to keep his engine shop so he bought some land and built a new building. Said it would be the last time that happened after he had issue after issue getting up to codes and had to spend over 30k on plants and grass for the parking lot.I met a guy online who owns a metal case manufacturing business. We met because I was looking for metal cases to convert to travel humidors. As his business grew, he was actually looking to set up a factory here in the US. While he was investigating his costs to set up in the US. He also visited his suppliers factory in China. While on his trip to China, he bought the Chinese case factory. This is a true story. His main reason was all the rules and regs that he would have to follow if he did his manufacturing here. Had nothing to do with wages, but was all the taxes and fees imposed by the local govt.
