LEHIGH ACRES, FL - LAFD firefighters from Stations 103 & 104 "C" shift worked to extricate a woman driver and her 10-month-old child from their car after the mother drove under the rear of a school bus at approximately 8:00 a.m. on January 8, 2009, at the intersection of Leonard Boulevard and Martin Avenue.
The driver was not belted, nor was child in the car seat, however both the mother and child sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Lee Memorial Hospital by LAFD rescues.
