Gran Reserva

So I finally tried a gran reserva on monday. I don't do reviews well but figured a picture of one of the nubs from the night might give you a clue as to how it was recieved.

Are these unbelievably limited? I'm in India and later today I'll be headed to the only Habanos dealer in the country. There aren't many smokers in India so I'm hoping this shop may have some crazy stuff on the shelves.

5000 boxes so fairly limited. My local has gone through 3 boxes so far

I can only count of seeing boxes and singles, ya? I've seen 2 cigar mini boxes but I think that was a special deal for the Habano festival.

Well, unfortunately the shop out here in Delhi has been out of the GRs for quite some time. But, they do offer a free home delivery service, haha. It's probably for the best that those one or $800 stay in my pocket and not as a few cigars.

Ok I must admit that wasn't my nub but a buddies who is much more talented then I am at it. For a score I would give it a 95. It might have scored better if I hadn't smoked the monte on the weekend. There was just something that little extra special with the vintage cigar. But this was the best cigar I have ever smoked out of a fresh box.
