Looks cool. For me, however, I've had the same number for a very long time. As long as my cell service works, I'll never change the number. Just because my area code isn't a local area code doesn't mean I have to change numbers. I really never see myself changing numbers with the way cell phones operate.

You don't change your number, it's more like phone number forwarding. Could be good for unscrupulous activites I suppose. Good to give out for the women you meet at bars or clubs who turn out to be annoying!

Ahh, ok. I thought it was just a way to have one number for the rest of your life. In that case, I already do. But I see what you're saying. That's cool for that kind of purpose.

Hello BOTL. Great that you found GrandCentral. The idea behind it isn't to replace all your phones with one number to to add a ton of features to all your phones through one number. Even if you only have one phone (your cell), we'll tell you who is calling on every call, let you accept it, send it to voicemail, LISTEN IN on the voicemail, or accept and record the call. If you have more than one phone number we'll ring them all so you can answer at the phone you want (rather than being on your cell while at your desk) and we'll get all your voicemail in one inbox, which we'll let you get online, through email and through the phone. And yes, if you want to keep the stalkers away, the GrandCentral number won't let anybody know where you live or work as its tied to you rather than a location. We'll even let you set a caller to SPAM and all their calls will go directly to the SPAM voicemail file, or you can even set them to BLOCK and we'll play the "this number is no longer in service" message when they call again. And, its FREE!

Let me know how you like it.

Craig, nice of you to join us here. I bet your service is pretty popular with podcasters for the recording feature.

They do have a premium service for more stuff though   I wonder if they take cigars as a form of payment?

We had a conversation about a smiliar service at the cigar shop. I forget which one but a lawyer was using it in his office and was very happy with it.

Finally got an invite for Google Voice (Google bought GrandCentral awhile back). Pretty cool features all around.

I have some friends that work in the Tech Industry and have been raving about GrandCentral since it's been out....I have not personally tried it yet!
