the COPE course starts with the easy stuff,,, lots of balancing on cables, climbing 12 ft walls, navigating log courses, where you have to bring your logs w/.... all about a foot off the ground. after lunch, you're up 50ft, with harnesses. and everything is done up there! the last part, you stand out on a telephone pole (mind you, 50 ft in the air), and jump out and try and catch a trapeze bar. then i belayed them to the ground (that was my job!). oh yeah, we also had a 20 second ride an a zipline!! running three groups in the morning, two groups in the afternoon!! kids had a great time!! and i got paid for it!!!

i did a course like that also in scouts. the high part was a little rough about 50 feet up but you had to climb a latter with five foot rungs, then walk along a balance beam, then a cable with a cable above you to hang on to, then a cable with ropes dangling down above you, then across hanging swings that was tough all about 15-20 foot gaps finally down a 200 yard zipline awsome day. must have been fun today
