I have looked everywhere for a halfway decent deal on a SSD for my laptop and this is the best deal I have found on a great drive:

How performance changes? That is easy. No matter the cost once you have a machine with an sad drive you don't go back. Reduced boot times is almost enough.

Yeah, the SSD is the feature I miss the most from my macbook air. Boot time-5 seconds. Dell with SATA-literally 5 minutes.

My MacBook Air essentially has an SSD. I will never have another computer without one.

What kind of laptop are you putting this into? Tell us what performance/install is like. 128 gb is small for me, but I know they really raise the price once the size gets higher.

I am putting it into a Dell XPS 17. I have 2 500gb hard drives right now, I will use this for the OS and all my programs and use the 1 500 for storage. I will be buying a USB 3.0 external jacket for the other 500 to use it as a back up.
