Hello!
I found this forum awhile back when deciding how to best make a tupperdor. I've smoked NCs for years but never put much thought into it until the last couple years. While in school I would have random stick here and there, for what ever reason it was always an H.Upmann, Punch or Macanudo (pretty sure that's all the little magazine store ((remember when those existed!)) stocked). The next decade I never really smoked at all.
In the recent past I was introduced to two smokes that blew me away 1)A.Fuente's Hemmingway Short Story. wasn't overpowering my palette or wallet with this one while getting a quality smoke. 2)Padron 1964 anniversary Exclusivo. WoW! after this stick I was determined to expand my knowledge about cigars. I stuck with these two for a couple years before venturing out.
Currently I have a modest tupperdor stocked with old classics and newer boutique sticks. I keep a handful of AJ New Worlds and Illusione Rothchildes for more frequent smokes. Believe it was this site that showed me the value of those two! Looking forward to learning more!
