Hello Brothers! My name is Dan and I am from Albany, NY.

I've been smoking cigars for most of my adult life- so well over 10 years. I took a break for a few years (honestly I don't even know why) but about a year ago I started smoking cigars again. I've really enjoyed going to the local cigar shop, buying a few different sticks and just trying new things. Here are some of my recent favorites:

Chateau Real
Joya De Nicaragua Antano 1970 Consul
La Flor Dominicana Cabinet Oscuro Natural
My Uzi Weighs a Ton
Padron Anniversary
Ashton VSG
Fuente Opus X

I also was lucky enough to score a Tatuaje Mummy which was excellent, and I'm looking forward to trying the Old Man and the C coffin I also recently bought.

Other than cigars, another hobby of mine is wet shaving (I have a few vintage double edge razors and bay rum obsession) and am a member of the Shave Nook forum (which has been such a pleasant experience, it made me seek out and join this forum board).

Otherwise, I am a father, husband, teacher, drummer. I look forward to learning lots from the BOTL.

Thanks for welcoming me! I look forward to exploring this forum, participating in the discussions and learning lots.

James- I can't pm you until I get at least 10 posts under my belt. But I wanted to tell you that all those spots you mentioned in the 518 are familiar to me. I actually live in Amsterdam, NY; work in Schenectady; and spend lots of time in Albany and Saratoga. Big fan of the 518. Glad to meet a fellow 518 brother!
