Hi, I've been a BOTL member for quite some time but it was just called to my attention that I never completed an introduction so here it goes.
I'm a long-time cigar smoker and recently moved to Charlotte NC from South Florida but also have lived in Denver and Detroit.
I started smoking typical General Cigar fodder in college like Macanudo Hampton Court and Hyde Park and moved up the strength ladder as my palette evolved.
Now I'm a huge fan of anything from Nicaragua with a like of DR sticks too. Have to say I love Drew Estate and Tatuage blends but also love some not-so-well-know sticks from Guayacan Cigars and Pinolero.
Lighters? I have a few - started with good looking but crappy functioning ones from Colibri and when they all died I moved over to Xikar and Lotus. And Xikar makes the BEST cutters, hands down.
I have a few humidors including a couple of cabinet humidors from Cuban Crafters bought when I lived in South Florida and made my first Coolador to transport my sticks when I moved to Charlotte.
I miss the access to the great cigar maker community in South Florida and the best retailer around, Abe and the gang at Smoke Inn, but I have found Outland Cigars here in Charlotte and they have a great selection too.
Travel all over the US on business and you can see my posts via @cigarkirk on Twitter.
Again, sorry for the delay in posting an introduction, look forward to continuing to interacting with everyone here.
Kirk
