New to BOTL, but not new to cigars - since high school, (best friends dad always let us have one) - so around 14+ years
Generally, I am very much into most everything fermented (cigars, beer, wine, whiskey, mead, etc) - I make my own mead (still learning)
Avid coffee drinker (usually intelligentsia)

Hello from Lake in the Hills, and welcome to the group. There a lot of us in the Chicago area with quite a few of us being in the North-X burbs (Geneva, Lake in the Hills, Carpentersville, Naperville, West Dundee, Wauconda to name a few). Which burb are you in?

We try to get to together as a large group once every couple months, sometimes less and sometimes more, so hopefully you can join us.

In truth, I have not (yet) paired mead with a cigar. There are very many styles being made and some may be quite nice, while others would be too stark a contrast to pair together. 9 times out of 10, I usually have coffee or water, but sometimes pair whiskey or port
