surfed the web, stumbled upon the forum, liked the active and positive community, and though I would join.

I live in Utah, at the base of the Wasatch mountains.

I have been smoking cigars for 5 years.

Enjoy smoking the usual suspects.

I also love detail, so the many nuances of the cigar world suits my personality.

Hope to get to know a few you gents and gals from here on out.

Nice looking buck (av), Jonesry09. Great to see a fellow hunter and cigar smoker on the forum--I'm sure there are many.

Thank you for the warm welcomes.

@plumber1965, has there ever been a BOTL Utah meetup?

If not, it would be fun to organize one. If you like fly-fishing, it would be fun to
combine the two, though the wind can be something else on the Middle Provo.

I have 3 fly rods, reels, and line and enough gear--flies, tippet, etc. to easily rig a dozen or more rods.

Would work best if we all rotated between enjoying cigars and fishing different runs--along a decent sized stretch of river.
I'd be happy to get guys going and showing them the ins and outs of fishing the Middle. Would be worth it to get a Utah herf
and hopefully get some fish on the line.

And what he isn't telling you guys is this is about 30 minutes from where he lives!!!!!
This is true and I am very grateful!

When I moved here from Southwest Washington a handful of years ago, I feared
that there wouldn't be any rivers close by. I practically lived on the East Fork of the Lewis River during the fishery's golden
years. Steelheading, salmon fishing, and trout fishing on a stretch that was a 3 minute walk from my grandparents' home.

I am in a good place when I am fishing a river, enjoying a cigar, and battling the elements.
