Greetings everyone!
I reside in South East Michigan (Near Ann Arbor) and I have been smoking pipes since last March and cigars have been on and off since last May... until now. I purchased my first humidor (a 50 stick box from cheaphumidors.com) and got the humidity around 69%.
It was super smooth (you could give it the hardest pull and it was still smooth as silk, no coughing) and every exhale tasted like I just ate a piece of chocolate cake. It was wonderful and I hope to accumulate more of those in the future.
Like aromatic pipe tobacco, its rare for me to find a flavored cigar that I like. However Isla del Sol does it just right for me, I do have a sweet tooth and theres something appealing about feeling like I'm smoking sugar cane.
Anyway, I came across this forum after googling around for cigar forums. I lurk in /r/cigars and /r/pipetobacco and I wanted to see what else is out there and so far so good
