Greetings.. One forum leads to another. Joined the Cigar Aficionado forums earlier today and reading through that one led me to this one.

I assume there's lots of crossover of members? Personally I like "proper forum software" as opposed to what is used on the CA forums.

Anyway, some of you might recognize me from the wine community. More specifically from wineberserkers.com or CellarTracker.

I am originally from Canada, now living in the Santa Cruz, CA area.

Smoked the occasional cigar from time to time without ever really learning much about them and over the last year I have really immersed myself into it. The similarities to the wine world are pretty cool but I rarely mix cigars and wine. Just doesn't work. That's why Scotch was made. :yes:

I look forward to participating in the forums.

It sure does. Am further along in my Cognac journey than I am with Armagnac though, here in the Bahamas I have only found one kind or Armagnac, and it was mer.
