In the upcoming April issue of Cigar Aficionado we are proud to share with the community here at BOTL that the Guillermo Leon Corona Gorda has been awarded a 92, and and is the highest rated non-Cuban.

Gee, I tried one from my local B&M and was not impressed at all. Just ok in my book. I actually preferred the Nestor Miranda Art Deco and Avo Heritage that I smoked recently. I guess my palate just couldn't pick up the tastes.

Congrats CA for awarding a 92 to a well deserved cigar. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!

Still looking to get my hands on one, but I can't wait! I'm into coronas too (love the LA 107 Corona) ... though I think ALL good blends should have a lancero :) Maybe now that it's an official success you guys can consider us lovers of the tall-and-skinny and test out a lancero!

The Guillermo Leon is a very good, mild cigar. I know it's labeled as being in the medium-range, but I found it to be incredibly mild; mild and smooth. And for the price, you can't beat it.

I guess it depends what you smoke on a regular basis. Those who smoke mild cigars would find it a step up in that medium range. Compared to some of the ligero heavy cigars on the market it would come across as mild.
