I already pulled the trigger on these, but I haven't smoked one yet. Bump because I'm interested in seeing others' responses.

IMHO, the Conni 1's are the exact cigar to choose to NOT taste like the usual Upmann profile...

It's very mild and can be bland without age... after a few years on it, the floral/herbal flavors start to come through, but it still never makes it to the intense flavor profile you can get from so many other Upmanns......... which, IMO, is why you'll get so few responses to this thread because most guys haven't heard great things about the Conni 1s, so they stick with their Mags, No.2s, Sir Winnies, etc...

If you like a milder smoke with very mellow flavors, this cigar will probably do the trick for you! If you were looking for signature Upmann flavors, you'll be dissapointed.

Cheers, guys!
Wow; I disagree with almost everything you said with the exception of the age. I've never smoked them young, however, 8+ years makes this one of the better robusto sized (yeah, I know, it's an Hermosos #4) cigars around. Until his stock died, I was buying cabs of '98s until around 6 months ago, and always had at least 2-3 on hand. Of course, that was then... :frownno:

I can't vouch for current production of these, but for the price would certainly recommend trying a cab...
