Yes, I know he put the decimal point in the wrong place, and hopefully Famous will let him off the hook, but $825 for five $8 cigars has to be a record. I wonder if he crapped his pants once he realized what he had bid, lol.

Even that would have been a major overbid. A box of 10 are on sale at Famous for $53.99 ($45.89 BOTL price). I still feel he meant to bid 1.65 each, and messed up the decimal point.

This is why we all need to read the stink'n confirmation page, listing the bid total, before hitting submit.


I remember several years ago, I was bidding on a Yankee lot at CA, and IIRC, the bids where around $49 and change. Someone messed up with the decimal point, and bid on 2 lots at $5000 each.
