Had my first 7th capa especial last night....

And I loved it. Surprisingly I am not a fan of the 7th reserva broadleaf (but I love Pete's other broadleaf sticks) because it lacks the sweetness that I get out of other tatuaje mads. However the capa I had last night was just that; sweet coffee, earth, spice, and everything nice. Damnit Pete, now I have another stick to buy.

Indeed you liked it, the capa is my favorite of the 7th series. Now you can go on a quest to track down the NHC version and compare them.

I've been saying it for a while, Pepin and Pete Sumatras are some of the best cigars on the market. Even the Ambos Mundos Sumatra is ridiculously good.

I've had a few of each of the 3 varieties, and I believe I like both the Broadleaf and Sumatra. I had the Sumatra with some French Roast coffee and it was fantastic in the early afternoon. Got the same notes you had. Just the right amount of sweetness. I love the Reserva in the evening with a good single malt.

Agree 100% Just love both sticks. Capa just keeps getting better and better with rest IMO

My thoughts exactly. 7th reserva is the only CBL wrapped tat I didn't like. I'm a huge fan of the blend with the sumatra wrapper.
