Hangar 17 Closes Its Doors

I know that my buddy CA Joe must be devastated. Just heard on Fox40 News a minute ago that the owner shuttered his business due to being taxed out of the game.

This was the location for the monthly Sacramento Herf and the locale of a really nice event last summer featuring a number of industry greats and bennies.

Hope the owner lands on his feet!

It definitely sucks. I did not see what Fox 40 did but I know the Sac bee put out a really unfair article on the whole situation. Joey has Fatman Cigars downtown so he does have another thing going. It is just sad to lose a cigar friendly bar/restraunt. Our monthly herfs will most likely move to Fatman Cigars, we are working on finding a place for our yearly event on June 18th.

The SacBee is a rag not worthy of lining the bottom of a birdcage with. They, according to Grant Napier are one of the contributors to the ill will towards the Maloof's causing the Kings to move to Anaheim.
