What are your plans?

Got into work today and got a box of chocolates from the company.

Tonight, I have reservations at our favorite restaurant. We skip on all the crap like chocolate that no one eats, flowers that die and teddy bear's that get dusty.

My wife and I don't do anything for Valentines Day...our anniversary is next week, so we usually just do something to cover both in one big sweep. This week, we are going to fly to San Diego on Friday evening for a nice weekend sitting by the ocean! She says I'm romantic enough throughout the year, I don't need one special day to be the "me" she fell for almost 15 years ago...

Yep, I'm the man!

Me and my girl went out to a nice dinner this past weekend because we were both going to be working today. She works till like 3 am tonight. I'll leave a card in the living room for her to open when she gets home.

Cooking a candle-light dinner at the house for the girl. It's also our anniversary today.

Our Anniv. is 2/22, and I always tell people that I was trying to knock out two birds with one stone. Seriously though, we normally just go out to The Melting Pot (classy, romantic, fondue restaurant) to celebrate both.

We were married in a leap year and I tried like hell to get her to agree to getting married on February 29th. She thought it was a neat idea until she figured out I just wanted to get by with only having to worry about an anniversary once every four years.

Last week, I ordered a box of cigars and she ordered a case of candles. We decided that would be our Valentine's Day gifts for each other. Yesterday,we had our grandson spend the night, so that was a treat enough for both of us.
