I was at Costco yesterday and saw that they have their own brand of beer now. It looked like a micro brew and it was a 24 pack sampler of Hefeweisen, Amber ale and two others. It said it was made in San Jose, CA and I assume they have a larger brewery make it for them so my guess is it's Gordon Biersch. Have any of you tried it? How is it?

I have heard that the Kirkland brand of spirits are pretty good as they are from very reputable distributors,,,but beer is a whole 'nuther deal as far as I'm concerned.

Costco usually has high quality product, and they wont sell it if it isn't. I would say go for it. They'll take it back if it sucks anyways.

Well I got it and tried it and it's pretty good. Not awesome but I'm from the home of mico brews (Oregon ) so I'm spoiled.
