Going to the game for work Saturday. Any of you Eastern Tennessee folks have any advice on the best route to get there coming down 75 from Lexington? Should I expect horrible traffic coming in? And any good places to eat near the stadium? Thanks.

No advice and I'll be watching the game. Curious how Patrino can handle TN since supposedly they have more depth at the bench than Kentucky.

Yeah I don't know anything about Tennessee, but Petrino had Western playing good last week. They should have won by 3 tds over Kentucky but they had 2 first half fumbles and a TD drop. If they clean that junk up I think they will stay competitive. And never bet against Petrino.

75 dumps right into knoxville.. When you get to where it crosses 40.. Head east.. Downtown (stadium) is just a few miles away..

Traffic is bad coming into town on game day.. But not horrendous... Traffic and parking downtown is a royal beotch though... COME EARLY..

Wish I was gonna be in town this weekend.. I'd link up with you for a smoke...

Thanks for the advice. We may come in Friday night since it is a noon game. Can't be as bad as the traffic I hit going to the WKUvUK game last week in Nashville. It was stop and go from the Kentucky/Tennessee line all the way into the parking lot. The usual 3 hour drive from Louisville took over 5.
