Was a very small phase in my life playing D&D. Somehow a doppleganger ended up killing me with a 1 in 20 hit on the dice half the time I played. Something like that. Neat idea of a game for "geeks" or "nerds" as know years ago. We had to play on the lowdown or get labeled.

Hey! I'll have you know that high water pants, black framed glasses with white tape on the temples and pimples were considered cool!

Not in my school it wasn't. Not ever, not now, and will never be. Not labeling here, just calling a spade a spade.

PS, I still like you Dan if that counts for anything. :innocent:

Ok, maybe not cool..... But.... but.....

OK damn it! I was a geek, I admit it..... :headroll:

You should have seem my wife's face when my parents broke out the slide projector the first holiday she spent with them! What a howl! And for the record, yes, my discription of myself in HS is accurate. Luckly, that's not the man my wife met.

Now there's a certain distinction to being a geek.

You know the saying, the geeks shall inherit the earth. I mean, look at Bill Gates.
