New to the forum and relativly new to smoking. Was on the puff website, never really looked into any other forums and now enjoy talking to people about the hobby. Live about 1 1/2 hr away from pittsburgh, am a home heating oil delivery driver. Just got into pipe smoking and think i enjoy the orientals the most so far. Didnt know the amount of info there is on pipe smoking and thought i would just pick it up and be ok lol. Still havent packed the perfect pipe yet but can get through half a bowl so theres improvement!

Welcome from Virginia. You deliver heating oil and still have time to smoke a pipe this time of year? That's impressive. When my father-in-law delivered, sometimes they delivered from "can see to can't see". Haven't played much in the Orientals. Love Virginias, Burleys, and mixes of them, but I'm still pretty green.
Liking the orientals, latikas, Perque blends. Never really tried aromics. I like the smokey flavor i believe in oreintals or latikas? Im a fan of Dan midnight ride, Hearth & home anniversary Kake. Pretty new still exploring. Not very good at describing them at all. but dont like when its a strong tobacco taste. Niccotine power does matter to me either. Looking for flavor!
