I work and am part owner of a fairly new cigar shop in center city Philadelphia.
We've been fortunate to have been open for a little over 2 years. It was a real struggle in the beginning. But I think we've made it over the hump (knock on wood). One of our customers told me about this site (I was leaving the store to meet someone and we had conversed briefly. Within that short conversation this site was mentioned and after checking it out. Became a member. I did not get his name.). If that person happens to read this. Please let me know it was you. So, this site definitely has the same type approach as our store (from what I can tell so far). We opened the store under the concept that you can be anyone to smoke a cigar. Show up, as yourself. Be yourself, relax and make yourself at home. We'll go out of our way to make that happen. And fairly inexpensively. It's a BYOB spot where you can smoke inside the shop. It's 2 floors. The upstairs is setup more like a bar and the downstairs is more of a lounge feel.
I guess I can go into details later. Or if people ask about the store. Of course I'm here to promote it but I just as equally, if not more, would like to get to meet people here
