Hello from Atlanta!!!

Hello all,

I'm a new member here in Atlanta, GA and need the advise of the wise individuals I see on the site everyday. I have smoked cigars on and off for a few years, but until recently have jumped into trying all the different varieties and enjoying them more thoroughly. As of now I am smoking a lot of sampler packs that I find on the deal of the day sights and have enjoyed many. Can anyone help me with advise on any good cigars I must try starting this new venture in life and any websites that will help me become knowledgeable in the world of cigars? Any help would be more than appreciated. Thanks all and take care.

Hello & welcome!

Advise - just try as many different sticks as you can. If you're motivated to, take a few notes on them so you get a better understanding of what & why you like certain sticks.

Don't worry about box deals right now until you really find what you like - remember that your tastes change over time too.

I love Pepin, Fuente, La Flor Dominca, Padron, but there are so many good cigars available to us these days - half the fun is trying them all out!

Welcome to the BOTL! What part of ATL are u from? My advise is to just keep reading up on this site and any mags u can get yours hands on. Look for taste that you like and go from there!

Another "HOTLANTAN" brother on here. Good to have you aboard and my advise is like what the others are saying. Being so new to cigars be patient and start maybe with mild to medium singles and 5 paks. Get used to the nuances of how they taste, burn and smoke. Ask questions when you go to the B&M's and depending on where you actually live PM me and I can tell you the closest places are as to where some good cigar places are. Good luck!
