Glad to meet the BOTL people. I'm a semi-retired contractor, just started smoking stogies about three months ago. Have been experimenting, trying to find great taste without a big price tag. I imagine that the best short cut to that would be on a board like this one.

Depending on what you consider to be low price points, they may have you covered. The Aroma De Cuba line is affordable and very good. I especially like the Mi Amor, but that might be too much pepper for a newer smoker. The My Fathers line is also very affordabl under 8 a stick. Coonsider getting some samplers by strength to narrow in one what you like in terms of bold flavors, then start talking with the shops. If you call Famous you can talk to the reps. Niccole is great at recommending sticks based on others you have already determined you like. Avoid chasing the 2-3 sticks as you will find more heartache than love until you realy understand what flavors you like. Then you can get low cost comparable sticks.
Finally, don't forget that you can get nice discounts from the sites sponsors. Search around to find those folders.
