My name is Bill and I have browsed this site a few times and have really enjoyed reading many of the threads and continue to learn about this great hobby when I have the time.

I've smoked cigars for a couple years, but with a 7 month old, I only get to indulge a few times a month right now. I enjoy smoking most Rocky Patel's, and Hoyo de Monterey's. However, I think my pallet is developing to a more full body taste, as I really enjoyed the Don Pepin Cuban Classic (my first and only Pepin), Oliva V Lancero, and Man O' War.

I'd love to hear some opinions on some other cigars to try. Especially, if you know of any good samplers that I can purchase with some medium and full bodied cigars. I hear a lot about Tatuaje being an excellent cigar, is there a particular vitola (did I use that right?) I should look for.

Sorry for the long read,
Bill

Welcome aboard Bill! as you mentioned your pallet evolves as you smoke so a lot of smokes that you enjoyed when you started off you may not enjoy as much after smoking for some time. Try the tats.. I've like every one I've smoked thus far so I don't think you can go wrong with them, the Havana VI series would be a great way to start. New Havana Cigars I believe is a sponsor here and has some great Tatuaje samplers you can check out.

Enjoy your stay bro.

Welcome Bill! Glad to have you aboard!

Any Tatuaje is pretty good - a lot of DPG fans here!

Hello, and welcome from a BOTL noob too. Lots of good sticks out there to enjoy. Try a Kristoff (maduro), Rocky Patel (1990 or 1992), AF Hemingway Classic and of course any OPUS X.

Good luck on your search.
