Hi all, as the title says I'm from central Alabama and until recently just dabbled in the sport of cigars. I'd have to blame my grandfather for getting me interested in cigars. No matter where we were or what we were doing he always had a stick, whether it was lit or not. I'm here to learn, explore, and find new and wonderful sticks to smoke.

What a great connection to have to your grandfather! Sometimes if I smoke a stick with just the right flavor profile I will get images of my grandparents house in my head. Funny how that emotional connection gets made to tastes and smells. Hope you enjoy your time here on BOTL...It's an awesome place.

The grandfather connection is priceless. Cigars are a great bridge between the generations. Its un PC to smoke around the grandkids but because yours didnt care, you two have a special connection/shared interest--just wonderfull
