Hello Everybody! I've seen the forum a few times and decided to join. I've been smoking cigars for probably 5ish years. I got started while visiting my brother down in DC. His roommate worked at a cigar shop down there and ever since we went in I was hooked. He generously sent me home with his old humidor and a couple of sticks and the passion's grown form there.
I've developed my personal taste since then and I enjoy more of a medium to full bodied smoke. I lean more toward Nicaraguan cigars but I do like to branch out. My favorites are Padron, Tatuaje, Illusione, Don Pepin/My Father, a lot of AJ Fernandez blends, Fuente Anejo and Opus, Crowned Heads blends, etc. I'm always interested in trying new smokes and am particularly interested in trying some Cubans in which I am a complete novice.
I was born and raised just north of Boston. I moved a little further north to Beverly MA when I got married a couple years ago. Other interests are fishing, hockey, cooking, Japanese knives, working on my house, playing with my dog, watching good movies and eating good food!
I have always really just smoked by myself and only talk cigars when stopping by the local B&M. I am lookign forward to getting involved in the forum and hopefully with some others from New England.
