Hi everyone! My name is Peej. I was born and raised in Milwaukee. I consider myself a cigar nerd. I have been smoking them legally for 14 years (and whenever possible before that). I became interested in cigars at an early age while traveling with my family mostly back and forth on annual vacations from MKE to Florida. For some reason I connected travel with an opportunity to find a good cigar and my father and Grandfather saw little harm in me trying whatever they picked up. Years later, I still travel as much as possible and still keep up on my tradition. I now have my fiancé interested and sharing my hobby and now we have a nearly full 300 count humidor at home. The rest is history. I love reading reviews and trying new stuff. I love pairing with scotch, Irish whiskey, bourbon, coffee, etc... In the last few years I have stepped up to middle/high end sticks as my palate and curiosity have evolved and grown. I am a sucker for almost all Alec Bradley sticks and I am also a big fan at the moment of the Rocky Patel olde world reserve maduro. Really digging upmann cameroons the last few days though. Something about the leather and toasted nut notes. I have a fairly large assortment and I try to keep jumping around as much as possible. I am here to hopefully connect with people who love cigars as much as my fiancé and I do. I am hoping to find some cool local events to attend and learn as much as I can absorb from the veterans here. I keep an open mind. Not a big fan of egos and try to keep mine in check as well. There is nothing worse to me than a cigar snob. I am not afraid to admit that on rare occasions I enjoy a flavored or sweet coffee infused Drew Estate stick. I am infusing a box of cheapie Connecticut smokes with bourbon as we speak. I also will come right out and say that as much as I enjoy supporting my local b&m shops, I am not afraid to order sticks online. I have a six month old daughter I live for. In order to keep her diapers stocked up, I don't mind bargain shopping and applying coupons. I look forward to being a part of this. I might sit back for a bit to learn the ropes here, but I hope to contribute what I can wherever I can. Thanks for having me.
