Hello kind frequenters of BotL,
My name is Raymond, and I'm a young student studying in New York, who enjoys the theatre, the cinema, and fancy wingtipped shoes! And of course, I started getting to cigars about a year or two ago, and I really enjoy it as a relaxation and a hobby. I've enjoyed the likes of Punch (both brands, the Cuban one of course abroad), Montecristo (also abroad), La Gloria Cubana, Macanudo, and a few others. I enjoy all strengths equally, though I don't believe I have had too much experience with the full sort. However, I generally don't like them too big simply because I've not the time or the will to sit and smoke around for so long. I also am in no position to spend more than 4 or 5 bucks per stick, seeing as I am of the "broke student" variety.
My avatar is that of a Turkish man in garb of his custom smoking, and it brings to mind the Italian expression (don't kniow if it could be English too) "to smoke like a Turk", meaning "to smoke a lot and with much gusto". In fact, I only do half a job at this by smoking once every few months, but I try to enjoy myself as much as I can in these moments, with good company, and maybe good drinks.
Looking to hear from all of you soon. Glad to have found this little place.
All the best,
The Turk
