My name is Nick, from Haymarket, VA, a somewhat recent transplant down here from Northern NJ. I've been smoking cigars for 25 or so years, and got very into cigars during the "boom" of the 90's while working for US Tobacco summers in CT (Makers of Skoal and Copenhagen, but at the time, still owners of Don Tomas and Astral brands, as well as Dr. Grabow pipes). I was a frequent, if not regular participant in the old newsgroup "alt.smokers.cigars" and still get comments on the ASC Herf'dor with it's "Hecho en cyberspacio" label.
I don't gravitate to any one particular cigar or brand, in fact I like to keep a wide variety on hand to try new stuff (which I also do with bourbon and single malt). I look forward just to seeing the chat and word on the street about the industry from the consumer's perspective, as well as possibly "run into" some friends.
I hope everyone had a spectacular holiday and have a Happy and Safe New Year.......
....so what stick(s) is everyone planning on ringing in the new year with?
