Quick question...why when I posted a deal from Cigar.com did the post get pulled? Not sure but I thought the deals thread was for that sort of thing....maybe I missed something in the rules.....please advise, so I don't make the same mistake again...

First of all, Welcome to BOTL! You'll find that it's a great cigar board.

A major reason why it's such a great board is because of the admins here. I'm pretty sure your quote above is tongue in check, but understand that the admins have certain rules in place for everyone's protection. In the past brand new guys have come on the board and taken advantage of the generousity of the members here. We are a pretty close knit group here and look out for each other. I'm not saying that was your intention, just pointing out why the admins have certain rules in place.

Well a lot of the fella's on here know me from the Devil Site...same handle...and yes it is tongue in cheek....I am truly sorry if you have all had bad experiences with new folks however I do think you should let a guy show you he's an ass before you assume he is one....you know innocent until proven guilty....makes for better manners....but by all means you catch someone causin some BS then you handle it anyway you need to.

We'd love do that, but the thing about internet is they run away and then what? Measures were taken and they have given results. I suggest ye make a trade or two, small things; and then move on. Also, POST. We like to know who tries to sell to us.
